Power off the device (recommended). Have a SIM ejector tool ready. If you don’t have one, a small paperclip works as a substitute. Handle the SIM tray gently to avoid damage.

Removing the SIM Card from a Samsung Phone
Samsung devices almost always include a SIM tray unless it’s an eSIM-only model.
1. Locate the SIM tray
For most Galaxy S, A, and Note series devices, the SIM tray is on the top edge. Some older or budget models may place it on the side.
2. Insert the SIM eject tool
Push the tool into the small hole next to the tray. The tray will pop out slightly.
3. Remove the tray and SIM
Pull the tray fully out. Remove the SIM card from its slot. Some Samsung trays have two slots (SIM + microSD). Make sure you remove the SIM, usually in the first/larger slot.
4. Reinsert the tray
Push the empty tray back in until it clicks into place.
