Update: Grading Portal Change (Trial)
We’re trialling a new way of grading devices in the portal.
Instead of selecting a grade based on visual judgement, you may now be asked to answer a few simple questions, with the system then assigning the final grade for you.
Why the change?
We’ve had feedback that grading can feel a bit subjective at times.
This update aims to:
- Make grading more consistent and easier to complete
- Improve accuracy of customer payouts
- Reduce issues caused by incorrect grading
What to expect
You’ll see either:
- The current grading screen, or
- The new question-based version

This may change each time you complete an assessment but both versions are correct — we’re testing which works best.
What happens next?
We’ll run this trial for a couple of weeks, then review the results to decide whether to roll this out fully.
